WHEN to choose the right word is on my mind these days.  I&#39;m working on my ability to write a lot and quickly, and THEN go back to cut and edit and perhaps select a better word here and there.  At the moment, I can hardly write a single sentence without pausing several times to consider several near-synonyms.</p><p>You make a wonderful point about WHY to select the correct word.
