Video Marketing for Boosting Any Business

Video marketing is a great way to promote yourself as an author. If you have a new book you may want to do a book trailer to introduce your book to your fans. Today we have  Eric Woolf of Videoemailmarketingclub.com  to tell us more about how to use video marketing.

I am constantly becoming more and more aware of the power of video marketing online which is why I actually started a website about it. Video online is not only becoming more effective at selling or marketing your products but it will also become more of the norm for getting information on the web. Placing one small video on social video sites like Youtube can get you hundreds to thousands of views in as little as a week. This not only can help you get more traffic to your website but it can also help brand your business online and offline. If you don't see the power of this, let me go into more details about it. Video can help in more than one way by:

* Building more trust and engagement- People tend to trust a person's business more through video than reading text. A video allows viewers to see the businessman in person and hear the voice which builds much more trust. It shows that they aren't hiding and are real people not trying to scam you.

 * Engaging with the Viewers Better- People enjoy watching videos more than reading an article because it takes less effort on their part and sadly its becoming more of a norm today. Visual props always engage with audiences better and they are more likely to listen.

 * Branding the Business or Website- Even if they don't visit your site by clicking the link or typing your address into the browser, the video still helps brands your business. This means that it they remember your business through the video, they may go to your company later on when they are actually interested in purchasing.

 * Creating Higher Sales Conversions- And all of these points collectively take part into increasing the conversion rate for your business. Video is known to effectively convert your viewers or visitors into sales much better than articles.

Just by placing one video up on social video sites can increasingly build up thousands of views and will likely be up promoting your business forever. Then image making 5, 10, 20 or more videos all progressively building brand awareness out on the web for you.

Basically, it’s like creating a video once and having it constantly working to get your business name out into the world everyday for free. This post should have showed you the power of placing video's up on social video sites like Youtube, but it isn't all that easy. In fact, some people upload videos and they only get a few views after many years later. Well now that’s going to change because in my next post I will show you optimization techniques to get the most exposure and viewing potential from your videos.

This article was by Eric Woolf of Videoemailmarketingclub.comwhere he will be providing video marketing services by creating videos and using effective marketing tactics to help businesses get massive exposure. Interesting post Eric. Can you give any examples where adding video as a tactic has increased the sales conversion? It would be interesting to see what products or services where involved.

Thanks

Great post. Excellent suggestions. You Tube has become a top resource for me but like you explain, videos are not limited to that site. Wherever they are, they make for quick impact. This is crucial in our hustling bustling world.

Agree with you about the power of a video, not least on Youtube. But it is essential that the videos are really professional and convey exactly the image you wish to project. An amateur video can make you the laughing stock of YouTube.

Keyuri, do you have videos promoting your business on YouTube? If so I would be interested in the URLs.

More reasons why I should create a video to promote my blog! Why is it that I have no problem standing up in front of a large live audience to make a presentation but you put a camera lens in front of me and I start to feel self-conscious? Could it be I need more practice? Anyone have any tips on relaxing in front of the camera? (short of having a glass or 2 of wine that is)

Hey Sherryl, I hear you and its understandable. Its usually because the thought of you making a mistake could be recorded and replayed but you can always redo it if its going up on Youtube.

I think my best tip is to just not think that its going to be recorded. Just forget about it.
