Tell Your Life Story in 6 Words

 Via Flickr-Joyful by Michelle Brea

I recently read a post on Tomato Baby. She challenged everyone to write their story in six words. It reminded me of the first time I posted on twitter. Now I am challenged to sum up my life in six words! We definitely have entered the world of brevity and short attention spans. I love Little Books, but a six word memoir would fit on a post-it-note!  I love a challenge and was intrigued with the idea so I decided to do it.

I first did some research on the origin of the six word story.  Hemingway may have written the first six word story. He said it was his best work. "For sale: baby shoes, never worn." There is actually a website, Smith, that collects six word memoirs. The stories are inspiring and beautiful.  The stories are on a variety of topics, but all only have six words. The challenge here is to write a life story in six words.

My life story:

Questioning, experiencing, struggling, overcoming, enjoying, living.

Please share your story in 6 words.
